About this tracker
The World News Coverage Volume Tracker is a dated, recurring tracker of general world-news coverage, counted from the items our aggregation pipeline captured in the stated window. Every figure on this page is a direct COUNT over rows in our own aggregation database — nothing is estimated, modeled or extrapolated. Volumes are grouped by ISO week of capture time (when an item entered our pipeline), i.e. all figures are "as aggregated by our pipeline". Honest limitations: the sample is our pipeline's capture, not an exhaustive census of world news; brief pipeline outages can drop items, so treat every figure as a ≥ floor value.
